Summer Youth Development Camps
ShareFest Community Development (SFCD) is involved with a Task Force led by Councilwoman Hahn’s office that began after a gang shooting in the Harbor Gateway South Neighborhood. We have partnered with the Los Angeles Police Department to put on three summer day camps for children living in this neighborhood.

Monday July 27, 2007, 12:30pm – 4:30pm: ShareFest will be taking children to the Rock community center to participate in team building exercises, basketball, batting cages, skate boarding, ping pong, pool and much more

Monday August 13th, 2007, 12:30 – 4:30pm: ShareFest will be hosting a Soccer clinic with the Chivas USA soccer team at California State University Dominguez Hills. The soccer academy coaches will conduct a soccer clinic. The Chivas USA will also provide players for an autograph session and will also be bringing their marketing unit. This camp will be held on the activity field at CSUDH. 

Monday August 27th, 2007, 12:30pm – 4:30pm: ShareFest will be hosting a Baseball Clinic for guys and Sports Conditioning for girls with South Bay coaches at California State University Dominguez Hills
