Hi, everyone! I’m Gaby Medina, and I’m excited to share with you my campaign for honorary mayor of San Pedro. But this isn’t just any campaign; it’s a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our youth that face significant barriers.  

San Pedro holds a special place in my heart, and so does Sharefest Community Development, a remarkable local nonprofit that empowers and transforms the lives of our youth.

As someone who has worked with youth, particularly at the YWCA in San Pedro, and as a board member, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of Sharefest’s mission.

Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for our community. 

Sharefest firmly believes that by empowering our youth, we are strategically improving our neighborhoods and giving every child a chance to succeed – especially those that need it the most and are on the verge of dropping out of school.
