We were recently thrilled to join forces with Phillips 66 for a transformative Day of Service at the Harbor Occupational Center. Their unwavering commitment to our community and dedication to youth development exemplify the power of collaboration and shared vision.

A Day to Remember: Beautifying Harbor Occupational Center

Harbor Occupational Center, a cornerstone for vocational education, received a stunning makeover during this inspiring service day. Once a tired and underwhelming space, the campus has been revitalized into an inviting hub for learning and growth. Thanks to the generosity and hard work of Phillips 66 volunteers, the school now boasts:

  • Breathtaking murals: Vibrant and inspiring artwork, including a massive welding-themed mural, now adorns the walls, celebrating the school’s dedication to career training.
  • Lush landscaping: New greenery and thoughtfully designed spaces bring life and energy to the campus, creating an environment where students and staff can thrive.

Victor R. Gomez, Principal of Harbor Occupational Center, shared these heartfelt words:
