SUPPORT THE CENTER
Renovations are complete on a former jail and it is now the Lundquist Youth Leadership Center. The center provides ongoing mentoring, leadership training, and educational services.
SUPPORT THE MISSION
Building programs at the Lundquist Youth Leadership Center is the start of our next phase. Sharefest youth development programs are growing and we need your long-term support to continue the mission of creating change by empowering youth.
SEE CHANGE
Giving youth a vision for their future is the first step in breaking the cycle of poverty. Through the support of community leaders and mentors, we see individuals change and eventually whole communities transform.

WHY DO SHAREFEST'S PROGRAMS WORK?
You know many of the youth in LA face chronic poverty, gang violence and dismal school performance. You want to do something to help make a change in their lives, but you don't know where to start. Maybe you would like to mentor an underserved population. Perhaps you are looking to donate to an organization focused on local youth. Or maybe you're sick of hearing about low graduation rates and want to make a change.
At Sharefest we've had to address the problems the youth in LA face in a real way. Through our annual Workday, we have cultivated relationships with civic and schools leaders who are asking for our help to improve the futures of the youth they care for. Through these relationships, we created the Youth Leadership Academy as a way to help students break the cycle of poverty and learn what it means to hope.
The Youth Leadership Academy has partnered with schools and centers to give students free access to life skills classes, educational support and mentoring. These programs not only work to increase the graduation rate but also keep kids safe and off the street. As our work in these communities has grown, we continue to see needs and look for creative ways to create solutions. We have acquired an abandoned jail and are in need of support from people like you to help fund the renovation so we can be a safe place for the youth in our community.
How much longer can you ignore the problems you see everyday?
How many more youth will go without the love and guidance they deserve?
How many more students will be victims of gang violence?
At Sharefest we have a proven system of leadership development and mentorship to boost graduation rates and empower youth. Our Youth Leadership Academy gives students a safe place where they can begin to build a better future.
Isn’t it time to step in make a difference?
