Work in multiple schools from Watts to Wilmington with students on the fringe of the education system who face significant barriers
Provide accelerated lifeskills and career development courses to help students earn a high school diploma
Deliver ongoing mentoring, educational support, and case management
Initiate opportunities for students to build their networks and while exploring multiple pathways to success
Create connections directly to the workforce through industry partners and local trade organizations
Guide, support and resource students after high school on their journey to the workforce or college

The youth we work with are survivors. They have persisted through challenges some of us would never dream possible. It is our job to help them uncover their resilience and channel it into their college and career goals.

Social capital is a web of relationships that has economic benefits. Unfortunately, it has not been evenly distributed among people and groups. But our research shows it is one of the most powerful factors in determining economic mobility.
REDUCE COLLEGE &
CAREER BARRIERS
Sharefest works to develop clear individualized plans toward a post-secondary or career goal, high school graduation, and enrollment in trade school or college. Guide, mentor and resource students after high school on their journey to the workforce or college.
