Doris was counting down the days to high school graduation when COVID-19 hit in March and forced her school to move to a distance learning model. Despite this new challenge, Doris was committed to achieving her goal and worked hard to earn all the credits she needed to graduate in June! 

After graduation, Doris was nervous about taking the next step into community college with impacts of COVID-19 still looming. She took the leap and is now a full time college student. All her hard work was noticed and Doris is one of the first few students to receive a scholarship through the new Sharefest Alumni Program. We are thrilled to report that Doris completed her first college course this summer with an A!

We are SO proud of Doris for persevering through challenges, overcoming obstacles and continuing to work toward her dream of working in healthcare.
