This summer, 25 young people completed Sharefest’s six-week paid Career Connections Internship, gaining hands-on workplace experience, building relationships with professionals, and developing the skills and confidence to take their next steps. By the end of the program, students walked away more prepared — and supported by a growing network of people invested in their futures.
We also caught up with Sharefest alumni Emily, who continues to show resilience and determination as she balances being a young mother, taking college classes and working part-time.
